			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The sketchbook and portfolio have been constant pillars of Art, Craft and Design Education. However, with the Nintendo and iPod generations now &#8216;digital natives&#8217; on image manipulation software, social networking sites and image hosting sites such as Photoshop, <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/departmentart/">Flickr</a> and <a href="http://departmentart.tumblr.com/">Tumblr</a>. The &#8216;<strong>digital sketchbook</strong>&#8216; has never been easier and more immediate. This <a href="http://departmentart.co.uk/category/analyse-and-evaluate/project-brief-analyse-and-evaluate/ks5-project-brief-analyse-and-evaluate-analyse-and-evaluate/">project brief</a> and subsequent research, promotes visual and creative networking within our KS5 learners, consolidates the idea and use of digital sketchbooks whilst establishing discussion through Tumblr lesson stimuli.</p>
