She is a welcome addition to the growing list of artists for our Food and Drink/Supersized project such as Claes Oldenburg, Ralph Goings, Andy Warhol and Martin Parr.

Consumerism in Art

Since the Pop Art movement consumerism and branded products have been investigated and influenced the work of artists. Company’s such as Absolut and Becks have recruited popular artists to promote and temporary rebrand their products with their own brand of art to increase sales.
