Sense of Place: 2012
This GCSE Art and Design/Textile Brief is for you to assess your own learning and meet your 2012 GCSE examination deadline. We have attached some examples of artists work in the mood boards attached.
Gary Hume’s work stripped the portrait into a minimal form and compartmentalizes it into line, shape and colour. Working from a variety of secondary images realised in household and gloss paint Hume creates work that is as smooth and polished as some of the celebrities that inspire them.
