Kate Talbot
Kate Talbot has taken the pop art aesthetic of popular consumerism and reinvigorated it using textile techniques such as Appliqué and Stitch. She is a welcome addition to the growing list of artists for our Food and Drink/Supersized project such as Claes Oldenburg, Ralph Goings, Andy Warhol and Martin Parr.

Piet Mondrian
Piet Mondrian is widely known for his numerous gridded compositions using the primary colours Red, Yellow and Blue. Mondrian’s career was consumed with the pursuit of mathematical and artistic compositional combinations to acheive an aesthetic nirvana. Resulting in one of his final compositions the Jazz inpsired Broadway Boogie-Woogie.

Tinhead
Tinhead otherwise known as Christopher Wright is a UK based experimental Illustrator and mixed media artist. His work consists of lo-tech illustrations and mixed media collage/compositions that pay homage to the early Pop Art aesthetic of early Richard Hamilton and Peter Blake et al. Tinhead’s work features on The Foals debut album ‘Antidotes’.

Mark Kennedy
Mark Kennedy is a mosaic artist who has taken a 4000 year old medium and reinvented it for the 21st century. Where once deities and gods were the muse Mark Kennedy focuses on Musicians, Artists, Actors, Celebrities and Football that all typify Northern, and especially Mancunian popular culture for his brightly colourful mosaics.
