Jenny Saville
A-Z, PaintingJenny Saville is a YBA whose work pays tribute to the painterly mark making styles of Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud. Saville explores themes of disfigurement, distortion, abstraction and deformity centre largely on the female figure especially her own figure/portrait. Her work has inspired our BTEC Level 3 project entitled ‘Surfaces’.
