Departmentart.co.uk is made up of a creative collective that all teach in an inner-city London comprehensive school. We have designed and deliver a curriculum (Key Stage 3 -5) that promotes Creativity, Experimentation, Exploration, Risk taking and Independent Learning.

I really love Rachel’s work…it’s stunning. A idea though…last year my class developed some similar still life drawings into batik…which sounds a bit odd, but it actually worked really well! xx

These are produced from an original photograph, moved into Batik, Water colour and then Screen Print! We will be posting the original photographs from our Flickr site soon!
