A-Z, Appliqué, Art, Artists and Designers, Textiles

Caroline Kirton creates applique and machine embroiderd snapshots of her teenage daughters and friends.  Her work looks at teenage life from the point of view of an adult or parent. I love all the work by the students, the composition is great and the use of fabrics. I like to use fabrics where you don’t expect to find them , like the flowery bench.

  2. Naomi says:

Gorgeous work! Lovely use of line and texture.
