Piet Mondrian
A-Z, Art, Artists and Designers, Drawing, PaintingPiet Mondrian is widely known for his numerous gridded compositions using the primary colours Red, Yellow and Blue. Mondrian‘s career was consumed with the pursuit of mathematical and artistic compositional combinations to acheive an aesthetic nirvana. Resulting in one of his final compositions the Jazz inpsired Broadway Boogie-Woogie.
