‘Fashioning Felt’ exhibition
Exhibition, Fashion, Showcase, TextilesThe exhibition ‘Fashioning Felt‘ currently on in New York has some fantastic examples of how artists and designers have used felt in art, design, fashion, architecture, and interiors. Hopefully the exhibition will tour and come to London.
I particulary like this photographic step by step of how people in Turkmenistan create large traditional felted rugs, the process is exactly the same as normal wet felting just on a larger scale.
