Soft Sculpture – Objects from the home
Soft sculptures are made by using fabric to construct 3-dimensional objects. Claes Oldenburg was one of the first artists to use fabric as a sculptural material in the 1960’s. Margarita Cabrera is a contemporary artist who works with soft sculpture taking everyday objects and recreating them using fabric.
